The Story Behind the Print

“Fox Hole” emerged more from feeling than from a fixed concept. The work touches on subtle aspects of human behaviour, approached through instinct and quiet irony.

The lack of a strict border draws the viewer into the scene. Small provocative elements are present, yet never exaggerated. The balance between suggestion and clarity became the main challenge during development.

It is not a loud image.
But it is not entirely innocent either.

“Fox Hole” is a handcrafted Hungarian linocut designed and carved by Daniel Szombathy that adds character to any room. Every piece is unique and not mass-produced.
