The Story Behind the Print

“Obsesion” originated from a personal disappointment that subconsciously shaped the image's core concept. The central figure of the composition is a Wolpertinger a peculiar, mythical creature from Central Europe folklore.

A tiny figure lurks in the darkness of the background. Its presence is barely noticeable yet pivotal: it is chasing tha white rabbit, attempting to capture it. 

The image explores the nature of curiosity, the desire to understannd, uncover and possess everything, even at the cost of draining the magic from the world.

The scene unfolds in a clearing lined with ginko trees. The meadow is carpeted in fairytale-like flowers, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The setting appears peaceful- but appearances are deceptive.

The question is not whether the creature is successfully captured. Rather it is what remains of the magic once we know everything about it.
